okies! becuase i'm terribly obedient when it's smexy mc bexy doing the asking (insert evil grin), here's my question thingo:

has anyone ever tried any of those pelvic floor exercises? do they really make sex better? and how in hell do i do them?! i was just curious, as sometimes during sex i start to feel like i need to wee, even when i've just been. which is distracting! so maybe my pelvic floor is dicky? hrm.

links to good explanations of how to give my pelvic floor a good, sweaty workout would be much appreciated!

I do pelvic floor exercizes all the time. I started after reading about them when I was 15 so that's 20 years. I make a point to do them every day.

I have no idea how much it improves one's sex life since I have been doing them for so long but I do have a very good sex life. My husband has noted that my vagina didn't feel any different after two vaginal deliveries. Also, I require a very small speculum (which also might have something to do with being very very short). I once told a midwife doing a vaginal exam that the speculum was uncomfortable, she said she was, at that moment, using the second smallest model, and the smallest was the one they used on the 14 year old girls. I asked if she could haul out that one and was met with disbelief. I proved my point when I sneezed a few minutes into the exam and shot the damn thing across the room. If nothing else it's a good coversation piece. I am the vaginal Schwartzenegger.*flexes muscles*

I would recommend pelvic floor exercizes to all my friends.

I like the idea of you doing sweaty pelvic exercises.

I get the need to wee thing during sex sometimes too, but, as I'm lazy, try the exercises Poodle and give us a detailed report on how it's improved things. If it works for you I'll try it.

I've been doing Kegels since I had my first child 3 years ago. They make a big difference! I'm a fairly small person and was always very tight according to my husband. After delivering a 9-pound bowling ball of a child vaginally (and the episiotomy from hell), I started doing Kegels every day. My husband said that he couldn't tell a difference down there after I had the baby. I couldn't tell whether or not I was any tighter (but apparently so from hubby's remarks), but I did notice that I orgasmed harder, longer, and easier than before. It's been a fantastic experience, and I definitely recommend them!
